Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival)
Hinamatsuri, also known as the Doll Festival or Girls' Day, is a traditional Japanese celebration held on March 3rd to wish for the health and happiness of girls. Families display a set of ornamental dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, and their court, dressed in Heian-period attire. This festival is deeply rooted in Japanese culture and symbolizes protection, prosperity, and well-being.
Product Details
The Emperor and Empress figures are adorned with the Ha Musubi (Leaf Knot), symbolizing new growth and vitality. The Empress's crown features the Kake Musubi, while the Emperor's hat is decorated with the true form of the Ma Musubi (True Knot). Each knot carries a special meaning, reflecting our wish to bring joy and elegance to this festive occasion.
